Children in Worship

We especially welcome all children to participate in church and worship. Baptized children are invited to the Lord’s Table to commune, and those not baptized receive a blessing.

Our congregation’s Safe Haven and Nursery Handbook helps to make our children’s ministry a safe place for all at Christ the King Church.

Nursery, PrayGround, and Children in Worship

At the Rice Village Campus:

Canvas activity bags in the chest by the nave entrance doors are filled and cleaned regularly for use during the service.
For our 5-year-and-under children and their guardians, we have created a PrayGround space in the nave for engaging in quiet play during worship.
In the nursery, Mrs. Herlinda Torres and volunteers welcome and care for our youngest children during worship services.
In the narthex are relaxing rocking chairs where you can listen to the service through speakers.
