The United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week
You are invited to join citizens all over the world during the first week of February for the observance of United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week. American Leadership Forum has partnered with faith-based organizations around the city to organize 10 days of activities to promote peaceful coexistence in the face of intolerance, prejudice, and conflict.
It is hoped that this initiative will provide a focal point from which all people of goodwill can recognize that the common values they hold far outweigh the differences they have, and thus provide a strong dosage of peace and harmony to their communities...WALKING, TALKING & WORKING TOGETHER.
We encourage you to become aware, learn, and appreciate the contribution of these segments of our community through the exciting array of programs and activities during this week of harmony.
Pastor Jennifer Hope-Tringali will be one of the faith leaders to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Nostra Aetate, the breakthrough in Catholic-Jewish and World Religions relations, along with Cardinal Daniel DiNardo on Wednesday, February 5th at Cathedral Centre at 1701 San Jacinto St. at 7:00 pm.
