They’re baaaack!! A record number of Sociables will be available at the 2024 Christ the King Festival.

At the Festival you will have the opportunity to reserve your spot for one or more Sociables. Some are small gatherings – for example, a guided tour for 6 people of Bayou Bend, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston’s house museum for American decorative arts and paintings. Some are large gatherings – for example, 4-weeks of dance lessons (social dance, cha-cha, and waltz) for 45 people at the Rice Village Campus Parish Hall. New Sociables this year include Challah Baking, a Boat Tour of Buffalo Bayou, a parent-child Christmas Shopping trip to the Memorial Area Ministries Resale Shop, Frolicking with Goats at a unique Beer Garden, a Tai Chi lesson, and a Fondue Party in a high rise overlooking downtown. Plus many more!!!

All Sociables are offered by CtK members who plan the event and cover all costs. When you sign up for a Sociable, you make a financial contribution to attend. Admission prices vary from $10 to $150. 100% of the funds generated will be donated to our congregation’s community partners.

So, bring your calendar and your adventurous spirit to the Festival. You can have fun during and after the Festival when you sign up for a Sociable!
