We are excited to bring this opportunity for children (and families) to come together for worship, dinner, and fun with our first meeting on Saturday, September 26 (and continue as best as we can on last Saturday of the month).

At 5:00 p.m. we will gather for evening devotion and afterwards will have dinner together with fellowship events and opportunities for children until 8:00 p.m. Parents, you can stay with your kids for part or all the evening, or you may use this time for a variety of purposes.  

Have you ever wanted to go to the 6pm contemplative service?  Or maybe you didn’t have time to go to the grocery store this week? You could take time for dinner with your partner or friend, or even take a walk or run around Rice University.

Just a few notes for our September gathering:

  • We need 2 sponsors (adults over 18 yrs old) to help with accompanying our kids
  • Our theme for this gathering is Stewardship so we will have lesson and activities themed with this in mind. 
  • Our service project will be making dog & cat treat care packages for Meals on Wheels and our Pet Blessing.
