Bach Vespers for Leipzig June 4 at 6:00pm | Rice Village nave + online

Sunday, June 4 at 6 p.m., Bach Vespers features our Bach Choir as we prepare to travel to Germany to participate in the Leipzig Bachfest. 

The choir will sing the Bach/Telemann motet Nun jauchzet and also music from the Americas in Bach's time. These include Spirituals, Mexican Colonial music and Sacred Harp works. 

In Germany, in addition to singing in Leipzig, the choir will also sing in Naumburg, Arnstadt, and twice in Berlin. 

A reception follows Vespers. All welcome!
