Meals on Wheels Volunteer Opportunity

Right now, more than 1,700 homebound seniors across Greater Houston and Galveston County are counting on us for their next Meals on Wheels delivery.  This delivery isn’t just a hot meal. We also include a breakfast bag of shelf-stable items — and due to a recent increase in demand, we need help like yours to keep up! Volunteer slots are open weekday afternoons and 3rd Saturdays at our Midtown location — an easy, hands-on way to make an immediate difference.
At IM Houston, they bring people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, service, and shared compassion. Together, we can demonstrate our shared commitment to compassion and service by ensuring Houston's seniors begin each day with a nourishing breakfast and the reminder that their community cares.
