Season of GENEROSITY

Dear beloved Christ the King Community,

1 Cor 3:9 "For we are God's servants, working together, you are God's field, God's building."

Yesterday, we kicked off our fall season of generosity with a wonderful temple talk given by Nathan Wiker who talked about how his family has and continues to connect in our spiritual home. He also issued a challenge to our congregation to join in, to grow and expand God's mission both within our spiritual home and into the surrounding local community.

We will hear more voices over the next few weeks, sharing their personal stories as to how they came to be part of Christ the King Community and what they are most excited about for our future together. God calls us to grow deeper in our faith and to serve those around us. I invite you to join together with me in supporting our expanding ministry.

On November 10th, I invite you to bring your statement of intent (which will be send to you in the near future) with you. Together in worship, we will gather around the table with these offerings for our next year of ministry. May God urge you to discern your gift and lead you in your response.

God is doing wondrous things in and through this congregation and invites us into a life-giving future together. Join me as I pray: "Here I am, Lord! Send me.”
