NOW is the Time

Dear Beloved Christ the King Community,

We are solidly into 2025 and Now is the Time.

We have begun an 8-week sermon series that will run through Transfiguration Sunday that carries this theme and explores what scripture tells us about how we each are uniquely gifted in following Jesus, activated by the Holy Spirit both individually and as a community.

Before jumping into action, I encourage us to first pause and pray, remembering that we are God’s Beloved.  From that place of prayer, we can then ask ourselves what are we most passionate about and what are our unique gifts to offer.  Then take the next step and contact a staff person who will be delighted to hear that you are willing to serve, and will help connect you.

As your interests are collected, we will get the word out about new and ongoing ministries to give others a chance to join in too.

We are in this together, and as the body of Christ, we each have particular gifts to offer, all of which are important and matter to the body as a whole.  I have included several scripture references for you this week to help in your time of prayer and discernment.  I hope that you find them helpful and that your prayer time brings you peace in knowing that you are Beloved.
