Deacon Ben Remmert on Sabbatical: July 2- September 5

In March, the Congregational Council generously approved a two-month sabbatical for Deacon Ben Remmert July 2 – September 5. Sabbaticals are a gift to those who serve for years in ministry and are meant to be a time of rest, renewal, and growth.

Deacon Ben will be traveling to the Holy Land with Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, taking a trip to the Pacific Coast with family, and catching up on reading and playing disc golf in Houston. Deacon Ben Remmert will lead the Sunday Forum on Sunday, September 17 to report on his reflections and discoveries to the congregation.
