Federico Salas-Isnardi, is a linguist, adult educator, social justice trainer, and literacy expert who serves as the director of the Mayor’s Office for Adult Literacy in Houston. Federico has more than 30 years of experience as a professional developer, consultant, and speaker on issues of education and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Federico and his wife Donna have been members of CtK since 1987. He has served as a youth leader (a long time ago!), usher, member of the boards of the Bach Society and the Melanchthon Institute, Sunday School teacher, and adult forum presenter. Federico has sung with the chorus and choir since 2001. Federico and Donna have three grown children who were baptized, educated, and confirmed at CtK. Federico has held three different nationalities and has been educated in three different countries. He cooks for pleasure, and collects key chains, coffee mugs, and masks from around the world. He loves traveling, camping, hiking, rafting, and swimming, as well as gardening and painting.
