Caroline Friberg

 Caroline Friberg joined CtK in 2007. She and her husband Lothar live in Humble where they have been training as empty nesters since June 2022. Originally from Germany, Caroline and Lothar moved to Humble in 2006 for work with their two sons: 3-yo Tassilo and 1-yo Aramis. After looking to join a congregation close by, they chose CtK despite the distance because of the weekly uplifting dose of music, the liturgy, and the children’s program. Caroline’s background is mechanical engineering and she worked as project manager in the automotive industry for six years in Germany. Once in Texas she chose to raise her children full-time, trying to maintain French and German languages in addition to the Texan they were happily learning. Caroline was a worship enabler and the family regularly volunteered at the Houston Food Bank before moving to Australia in 2013. Upon their return in 2017, they picked up where they had left off, engaging in a variety of CtK activities. When the boys decided to take gap years before university, Caroline began working at Deutsche Windtechnik, where she has been Business Process Manager since 2019. She loves being part of the congregation, never misses a House Church gathering, and hopes to continue serving in multiple CtK ministries.
