One Service at 11am on Pentecost Sunday, May 28
"Pentecost is on May 28, 2023, and it is a long-standing Christ the King Church tradition to read the story of Pentecost, “in various tongues.” With this letter, I am inviting all those who read or speak a language besides English to help us continue this tradition." - Pr. Amandus Derr
On Pentecost Sunday, May 28, there will be only one service at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Rice Village for all members from both the Rice Village and West campus. Pastor Jennifer Hope-Tringali, candidate for the call to serve as our next Senior Pastor, will be the preacher.
Following the service, there will be a special congregational meeting at which all eligible members are invited to vote on this call. Our annual Pentecost picnic will immediately follow the congregational meeting.
