Building Personal Care Kits for People Around the World, Offering comfort and care to those who need it most.

During Lent, CTK members will have an opportunity to assist people coping with poverty, disaster and conflict by making Lutheran World Relief’s Personal Care Kits. This simple effort provides dignity and hope in the direst situations and expresses love to our neighbors in need. Each week, you are invited to bring an item so that we can reach out as Christ’s healing hands in the world. The items we need most are:

• Light-weight bath-size towels (Need 115 towels) 

• Bath-size bars of soap equaling 8 to 9 oz., any brand, in original wrapping (Need 241 bars of soap)

• Metal nail clippers (Need 86 nail clippers) 

• Adult size toothbrushes in original packaging (Need 126 toothbrushes) 

• Study combs (Need 109 combs)

Drop off items in the Narthex or the Rice Village Campus church office by Palm Sunday on March 24.
