The Christ the King Houston Food Bank volunteer group had 11 volunteers out bright and early on March 9 for the second volunteering shift of the week. The group stayed hard at work on the scan-a-can project, entering hundreds upon hundreds of donated items into the Houston Food Bank's record system.
The team helped to process and receive 17 pallets (somewhere around 10,000 pounds!) of donated food and household items
We look forward to heading back on Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to noon for another great shift, and we hope to see you then!
