Come and join us on Friday, September 15 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall at Rice Village Campus as we kick-off the Blues, Brews, and Good News series for this program year. This two-hour event includes a live performance by a blues band, time to socialize over drinks, and a panel discussion on a current topic affecting our society.

This month's theme is "Religion in Houston Public Schools: Contemporary Challenges Facing Children, Parents, and Teachers." Our featured band is Side Pocket, led by Lutheran Campus Minister Rev. Jerry Whirtley from Treehouse Ministries at Texas A&M and Blinn College.
