Last Soup Supper this Wednesday, March 27
Please come and enjoy one final Lental soup supper together.
Artist Mary Button Stations of the Cross Viewing and Service, Wednesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Beginning at 6pm our self-guided tour of the Station of the Cross by Artist Mary Button will be open in the nave. A service led by Pastor Sergio will begin at 7 p.m. that visits each station with readings, prayer, and song.
Wednesdays during Lent, we will be gathering to share a meal together, to learn and try out a spiritual practice, and to worship together at Holden Evening Vespers. Food will be available starting at 6pm. We hope this allows you a night off from cooking to be with your CTK community, while we pause together during Lent to focus on deepening our relationship with God and each other.
Wednesdays during Lent:
Each Wednesday a soup supper will be offered beginning at 6 pm. At 6:40 we will pause to learn a particular spiritual practice together. Then at 6:50 we will move into the Nave for a 30-minute Evening Prayer Liturgy from Holden Village. We will be focusing on scripture from the Old Testament from the previous Sunday, reflecting on "Embodied Promises." Take a break from cooking as we share in this Lenten discipline together. Children are very welcome to join in too!
Soups, Salads, and Servers on Wednesdays
Join one of our committees by making a pot of soup, fix a salad, or help dish it up on Wednesdays during Lent as we enjoy food and fellowship following worship. Contact Deacon Aimee Elles at aimeeelles@ctkelc.org for more information.
