Annual Meeting Part Two

Sunday, February 15 at 9:45 a.m. in the parish hall

This Sunday Part 2 of the Annual Meeting will commence. Please arrive early to sign-in as only eligible voting members of the congregation will gain entrance to the meeting to maintain the sanctity of the vote. Regarding voting: those actions will be at the very beginning of the meeting allowing for members of the choir and other worship enablers to leave when necessary. 

The agenda will include ratifying Jack Christensen and Oliver Doolin as members of the nominating committee. The congregation will elect 3 members from a ballot containing five candidates (Susan Myres Uri, Terri Koehler, Federico Salas-Isnardi, Maureen Sahualla, Linda Marx) to serve as congregation delegates to and voting members of the ELCA Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod Assembly. Updates will be provided on status of the sale of the parsonage; kick-off of the stewardship campaign; the search for a property maintenance supervisor and additional ministerial staff. A statement will be made regarding the development of new ministry plans at the Memorial Drive campus. Treasurer Christopher Bryant and Financial Secretary Eldon Thomas will provide an overview of the year-end financial results for 2025. The New Christ the King Church Foundation Board will present their board members for the year. It is a full agenda, yet accomplishable. Please attend.

The congregation's annual report will be distributed as well.
