Confirmation class is generally taught for students in grades 6, 7, and 8, though special circumstances regarding when a student begins the curriculum may be accommodated. First, second, and third-year students are taught together.
Our confirmation class meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. using hybrid technology so that we can have youth join in-person or online together. We use a three-year rotation cycle to study scripture, Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, church history, and world religions. Our Confirmation schedule is the following:
Confirmation Class is on break for the summer and will start back up on Rally Day Sunday on September 13, 2026! See below for our schedule:
September 2026:
- 6: No Class- Labor Day Weekend
- 13: Rally Day and Confirmation Orientation (Parents and Youth)
- 20: Introduction to the Small Catechism
- 27: Germany Trip Sunday Forum
October 2026:
- 4: Commandment 1
- 11: Commandment 2 & 3
- 18: Commandment 4 & 5
- 25: Commandment 6 & 7
