Confirmation class is generally taught for students in grades 6, 7, and 8, though special circumstances regarding when a student begins the curriculum may be accommodated. First, second, and third-year students are taught together.
Our confirmation class meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. using hybrid technology so that we can have youth join in-person or online together. We use a three-year rotation cycle to study scripture, Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, church history, and world religions. Our Confirmation schedule is the following:
September 14: Old Testament Overview
September 21: Guatemala Trip Reflection (parish hall)
September 28: Creation
October 5: Adam and Eve
October 12: Flood and Promise
October 19: Abraham and Sarah
October 26: Issac and Abraham
