Repair, Refresh, Renew

“You shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to live in.” Isaiah 58:12b

Thank you to everyone who attended yesterday's forum came to hear about our Repair, Refresh, Renew Fall Appeal for some urgent property repairs.  I have attached our brochure that gives lots of information about what this appeal will cover.  

As we were forming this appeal, I meditated on our mission statement and how these repairs help us to be a safe and welcoming community, stabilizing our foundation so that we are free to move outward in mission.  I encourage you to read this brochure alongside our mission statement: Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church is a welcoming and inclusive community nourished by Christ in vibrant worship and committed to God’s mission of love and service, especially to the oppressed and needy.
