Kim Williams is a passionate community engagement leader who will be serving Christ the King as Director of Community Engagement. Baptized, confirmed and raised in the Lutheran Church, Kim has spent more than 25 years of her professional career in healthcare marketing, communications, sales and community engagement. Kim is also a mental health advocate, ally, and speaker whose commitment is to open the door for the hard conversations around mental health and close the door on stigmas. She is committed to mending a hurting world by providing and teaching care and connection.
Kim’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Marketing and specialization in Public Relations from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
Fun fact: Kim began her commitment to community engagement at the young age of 15, when she participated in the 21-mile Walk America in Conroe, Texas, collecting dimes for each mile walked and raising funds for the March of Dimes. Anyone who knows Kim knows there isn't a non-profit organization that she doesn't love!
