Deacon Aimee Elles (she/her)

Aimee Elles was ordained at Christ the King Lutheran Church in June of 2023 as a Minister of Word & Service. She has a Master of Arts in Diaconal Ministry from Wartburg Seminary and has just completed a yearlong chaplaincy fellowship with MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center. She and her husband, Daryl, have lived in the Houston area since 2017. They have two adult children, Kayla and Ryan, and have been members of Christ the King since the fall of 2021.

An interesting fact about Aimee: As an undergraduate in college, Aimee worked for the University Police Department and often drove the service truck. She was good at changing tires, but her specialty was opening locked doors on cars with the pop-a-lock tool.
