Bert Hungerford

 Bert Hungerford recently served on CTK’s Ministry Transition Team. At other Lutheran congregations he served on Congregation Council, as a preschool and high school Sunday school teacher, choir member, and actor in various dramas; for seven years at LSS (Upbring), he was treasurer and vice-chair. Beginning work in Big-8 public accounting (audit and consulting), he moved on as chief financial officer to several companies over the next three decades. He retired as a partner from an investment management firm where he performed investment due diligence and reported to institutional clients. His family enjoys spending time at their New Mexico mountain cabin, where seventeen relatives met this Thanksgiving! Bert and his wife Judy feel blessed to live in proximity to their two children and three grandchildren, and they see them often. Besides family time, Bert enjoys biking, reading, travel, music, theater, and the study of history.
