Scout Sunday and Candlemas – Sunday, February 2, 2025

Join us for a special worship service on Sunday, February 2, as we celebrate Scout Sunday and Candlemas!

Scout Sunday:

We will honor all scouts and leaders in our congregation with a special blessing. We invite all current and former scouts to wear their uniforms, badges, or any scouting-related items to worship. Scout Leader and Christ the King member Chris Bryant will share a message as our preacher for the day.

Candlemas:

We will also observe Candlemas, a beautiful tradition marking the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple and the recognition of Christ as the light of the world. As part of this celebration, we invite you to bring candles from home—any candles you use for prayer, worship, or everyday life. During the service, we will bless these candles as a reminder of God’s light shining in and through us.
