Kindly join us in celebrating Aimee Elles’s call to serve as Chaplain Fellow to University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas! Aimee will be ordained into the ministry of Word and Service and installed into her role as Chaplain Fellow on Saturday, June 3 at 3:00pm CT at Christ the King Lutheran Church Rice Village in Houston, TX. Livestream will be available at ctkelc.org.

The liturgical color of the day is red.

Rostered ministers are invited to vest and process.

Reception to follow in the parish hall.

Aimee Elles will graduate on May 14 with a Master of Arts in Diaconal Ministry (MADM) from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. She is currently completing a Chaplaincy Fellowship through December 2023 with UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Next up will be ordination as a Deacon this summer and she will be working towards endorsement with the ELCA and becoming a board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains.
