A collection of Sew Loved Quilts will be on display in the nave on Sunday, June 23. Sew Loved Quilters are a group of members and friends of our congregation who joined together in 2023 to create quilts for individuals facing difficult life challenges, including new immigrants, people undergoing medical treatment, domestic abuse victims, and elderly vets. With the help of grants from the CTK Foundation and Thrivent, as well as personal donations of in-kind materials and a phenomenal treasure trove of donated fabric and batting, this group produced over 40 quilts last year. Some of the quilters are very experienced; others have never before put together a quilt. The quilts are machine quilted or tied, not hand quilted like the archival quality quilts that Piecemakers produce each year.
