God's Work Our Hands Day of Service Sept. 7

Christ the King Lutheran Church and the AMMPARO (Accompanying Migrant Minors with Protection, Advocacy, Representation and Opportunities) Committee requests your help at St. James Family Life Center Day of Service on Saturday, September 7. We will pack Welcome Bags for 30 families served by the Center, then deliver them to residents in nearby apartments. Volunteers should plan to arrive at St. James Church, 1602 W. 43rd Street, 77018, by 8:30 a.m. We will deliver the bags around 10. Join the ELCA “God’s work. Our Hands” Day of Service.
