Repair, Refresh, Renew: Roof Edition

Thank you, Beloved Christ the King Community, for your generosity for our Repair, Refresh, Renew Fall Appeal.

Because of you, we have already completed the roof repair at our Rice Campus and the repair of the parking lot is scheduled to begin this week. You made this possible, and I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank you and to share some photos of the roof repair.

I took these photos from my office on the third floor over the course of a day, while both praying psalms of thanksgiving for you and prayers of protection as I watched the workers scale the various sections of roof they were repairing.

I was reminded as this appeal ended how much we can accomplish together when we are unified in mission and focus. I am so excited to see how we continue to come together in the future, looking up for guidance and wisdom, while participating in God’s mission in our neighborhoods.

We appreciate your patience this week with parking, as we continue to repair.
