Jesus poses a matter-of-fact question to Bartimaeus and elicits two responses; one spoken and one unspoken. “What do you want me to do?….My teacher, let me see again.” Bartimaeus’ spoken response is clear. He wants to regain his sight and be healed. Bartimaeus’ unspoken response goes to the heart of the matter. “What do you want me to do?…. My lord, let me know you as you are…A servant. My wisdom and my true word.” Pastor Sergio Rodriguez preaches from Mark 10:46-52, Twenty-second Sunday after Pentecost, Year B.

You may also participate in the 11 a.m. worship livestream via Facebook or YouTube. Log on at 11 a.m. to join us live or access the archived service anytime after.

Join us between services this Sunday to write letters together for Bread for the World. In our letters, we are asking Congress to make the Child Tax Credit (CTC) permanent and available to all children regardless of immigration status. Please join us in the courtyard at Christ the King on October 24. You can also advocate online at www.bread.org/go.
