This Sunday, we explore the question of how Paulo Freire’s ideas help us transform and renew our proclamation of the gospel in present-day contexts and how the relevance of his work impacts the mission of the church today.

Paulo Freire (1921-1997), was one of the most important figures of the twentieth century in the area of education. His pedagogical methodology focused on critical thinking and “conscientization” as a means to challenge the status quo and promote social justice and equity.
