January 29, 6 p.m.: Connections between People and Nature – The Human Microbiome
At the January 2017 web meeting, we welcome Professor Melissa Anne Suter from Baylor College of Medicine, department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, as speaker. Professor Suter will speak on The Human Microbiome. Don’t know what that is? Attend her talk to find out about this most intimate and vital of connections between people and micro-organisms. Professor Suter holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and has been actively engaged in understanding the molecular mechanisms behind the developmental origins of health and disease for the past 7 years. She will address Connections between People and Nature from the perspective of biomedical sciences on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. After her talk, there will be time for Q&A.
