We encourage members and friends (neighbors, colleagues) to go and join our friends at the Blue Mosque on Tuesday night for Lutheran-Muslim Scriptural Reasoning. Let us grow together in our Abrahamic family relationship and common witness for peace in God’s world. All are invited, no prior registration necessary, a light meal will be provided.

Scriptural Reasoning, a program developed by inter-religious dialogue experts at Cambridge University, is a new project here at Christ the King Church in partnership with the Houston Blue Mosque/The Islamic Institute. We read parallel scripture texts from the Bible and the Qur’an, talk about our understandings of them, and, along the way, grow in mutual understanding and friendship.
