2nd Annual Fall Interfaith Environmental Stewardship Event September 21
In an ongoing observance of the ELCA’s "God’s Work. Our Hands." Sunday during the month of September, Christ the King will once again lead the effort for a Fall Interfaith Environmental Stewardship Event. Join with people of other faiths in caring for our shared environment on Sunday afternoon, September 21, from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. We will engage in hands-on environmental stewardship by working with the Japhet Creek Nature Conservancy to remove trash and invasive species and to plant native plants in a Houston city park, Japhet Creek Nature Park. Japhet Creek Nature Park serves an East End neighborhood with little other access to greenspace. The park is located at 4600 Clinton at Emile (south of I-10 East). This event will offer activities for all ages and skill levels, so bring the whole family, your neighbors and your friends.
