Help Leipzig support the Ukrainian Crisis

Dear members and friends,

We have an opportunity to support our Houston Sister City of Leipzig as they provide for the daily influx of Ukrainian refugees into Leipzig from Poland. We know that some of you have already donated to the crisis through Lutheran Disaster Response. Thank you! For those who haven’t contributed or who still want to help immediately and specifically, you may give one of two ways:

1) Through Christ the King Church. Please note: Ukraine response.

2) You may give directly and safely through bank transfer to Leipzig.

Account Holder: Ukraine-Kontakt e.V. Leipzig

IBAN: DE61 8602 0500 0003 5687 00

BIC: BFSWDE33LPZ

Bank: Bank fuer Sozialwirtschaft AG

Kennwort: Hilfe fuer ukrainische Freunde

An organization or person wishing to make a donation needs to send the above information to their bank officer for transfer to Leipzig. IBAN is an International Bank Account Number that helps to make international fund transfers. BIC is a Bank Identifier Code. All of the above information needs to be included. The Kennwort is a reference for which the funds are to be used.

For those who aren’t aware, the City of Leipzig contributed thousands of dollars to agencies in Houston that serve the homeless and those hardest hit following Hurricane Harvey. The city of Leipzig, including our brothers and sisters at Thomaskirche, continue their legacy of loving their neighbors. Every day a special train with refugees from Ukraine arrives in Leipzig from Poland. Additionally, aid transports are being sent into Kyiv.

Thank you for your continued financial and prayer support.

Grace and Peace,
The Christ the King Ministry Staff
