Thank you for the great response we’ve had so far for our Lenten project supporting Lutheran World Relief’s Baskets of Promise appeal. Because of your generous response, we are within reach of our goal to assemble 100 Personal Care Kits during Lent. We need bath towels, toothbrushes, combs and nail clippers. And we need an assembly crew to put our kits together on April 13 (Palm Sunday) at 9:45 a.m. in the parish hall.
Thus far, your generosity has enabled us to collect:
• 42 bath towels (new, light-weight, maximum 52″x27″, dark color recommended);
• 61 toothbrushes (adult size, in original packaging);
• 41 combs
• 40 nail clippers (metal, attached file optional), and
• 175 bars of soap (4-5 oz., any brand, in original wrapping)
