Join us on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. in the basement classroom for Hatha yoga. The cost is $7.00 per class. Bring a towel or mat and water.
Hatha yoga refers to a sequence of physical exercises (postures) designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. Yoga’s combined focus on mindfulness, breathing and physical movements brings health benefits with regular participation. Yoga participants report better sleep for those who suffer of a circadian rhythm disorder, increased energy levels and muscle tone, relief from muscle pain and stiffness, improved circulation and overall better general health. The breathing aspect of yoga can benefit heart rate and blood pressure.
