Christ the King Church worships with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on October 4, 11:05 a.m.

tommy williams 2 touched upOn Sunday, October 4, the 10:50 a.m. service will join with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at their 11:05 a.m. service.
The drive over to Main  St. is short. There will be maps available at Christ the King. The 8:30 a.m. service and children’s Sunday School will take place at Christ the King Church.

We are invited to join the members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church to worship together on World Communion Sunday. The day falls on the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi. Guests from Leipzig, Germany, will join us with the Mayor of Leipzig, the Honorable Burkhard Jung. Leipzig has been a sister-city of Houston since 1993.

Pastor Robert Moore will preach and co-preside at the Communion Table with Rev. Tommy Williams, senior pastor of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. The choirs of St. Paul’s and Christ the King Church will join together. A Bach Cantata will be presented by students of Leipzig’s Music Conservatory and Rice’s Shepherd School.

St. Paul’s UMC is located at 5501 Main Street at Binz/Bissonnet, across from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Free parking is available across Fannin Street from the church, and Museum District MetroRail stops are within walking distance of the church.
