1. LIFE CYCLE TAG

One person (EGG) stands in middle area of field. Other players begin as LARVA. When the EGG says “GO,” the other players try to run to the other side of the field. If the EGG catches one person, they join hands and the other players become PUPA. Keeping hands joined, they try to catch a pupa. The next time, all the players are adult. When one is caught they complete the bug life cycle.

2. SUMMIT BUG RELAY

Divide into station groups. In relay style, each person must run up to one large tray and choose a picture. Then they must decide which bucket it belongs in and put it in the correct bucket. Then return to their team. Teams sit down when cards are all sorted.

3. BAT AND MOTH GAME

2 children are bat & moth. Others form a circle with a “bat” and “moth” inside. The bat is blindfolded, and the moth clicks castanets together. The bat tries to catch the moth.
