An Interfaith Evening for all Congregation and Community Members, with a Special PS for CTK Young Adults happens on Friday, October 20, 7:30 p.m. The event is hosted at the River Oaks Islamic Center, 3110 Eastside St., Houston, and sponsored by the Risala Foundation. Pastor Larson joins nationally recognized faith leaders, Imam Khalid Latif and Rabbi Laura Sheinkopf in a freewheeling discussion on how our faith traditions respond to common concerns of individual, family, and public life, and how we can work together to bring healing to all these dimensions. Imam Latif is a University Chaplain in New York City and Muslim Chaplain to the New York City Police Department. Rabbi Sheinkopf is a freelance rabbi, writer, and teacher here in Houston. This will be a great opportunity for us to grow and go deeper in our common commitment to mutual understanding, respect, and care for the public good.

After the session, the young adults of Christ the King will join with the young professional group from River Oaks Center for coffee, further conversation, and further friendship making. A grand evening, open to everyone!
