God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday, September 7

“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America — one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. On Sunday, September 7, 2014, the nearly 10,000 congregations of this church gather to serve communities in ways that share the love of God with all of God’s people. Christ the King Church’s emphasis will be advocacy for three topics suggested by the ELCA: Clean Air for All God’s Children, Fight Childhood Hunger, and Support Older Americans. Pre-printed letters and postcards await your signature between and after worship services. For an overview of a wide range how ” to put your hands to work” through Christ the King Church please see our brochure “Service and Care Opportunities.”
