CCSC Back to School Program

back to school 2013 logoSince 1986, the Christian Community Service Center (CCSC’s) Back to School program has helped meet the basic needs of school-aged children. Students who participate in this program lack basic school supplies and clothing/uniforms needed to start the academic year on equal footing with their more advantaged peers. Back To School not only physically prepares children with academic tooIs, but it also increases overall self-esteem and mental readiness for learning.

The demand for this program is extraordinary and the greatest way to contribute is by sponsoring a student. The majority of funding for this program cames from individual donors. It only costs $45 to provide each child with a comprehensive packet of academic supplies and a new school uniform. Please sponsor one or more students by submitting a check made out to Christ the King Church and earmarked “CCSC Back to School Project” in the offering on Sundays now though August or by donating online at www.ccschouston.com.
