Children and youth join to make music in worship on Reformation Sunday and during Advent and Christmas. Music director Rick Erickson and Music Associate Mary Joy Silmaro lead rehearsals that include music, movement and reading. Snacks and special activities such as pumpkin carving and Christmas pageant make these weekends fun events for everyone. We invite all children and youth old enough for singing and group activities to sign up. Registration can be done via link in Thursday evening emails, online, and in an email to be sent to all families. With questions please email email@example.com.

Sunday School Kick Off
Join us for breakfast tacos in the courtyard and the start of our new Sunday School year. Sunday School classes are offered for children age 2 through high school.
After breakfast, children, youth, and parents will meet in the parish hall for a short program. All students then have class pictures taken, while parents go the classrooms to meet the teachers and register their kids. While parents are in class, the children have fun and play games in the courtyard. You may contact Pastor Liebster or Deacon Remmert with any questions regarding Sunday School or Confirmation class.
It is time to register for this week of fun and learning for kids and adults. Spend a week “away at camp” while not away from home in the late afternoon/early evening hours for a whole week. Kids (ages 5-12) will enjoy camp led by staff from the synod’s outdoor camp Lutherhill. Adults pick from two tracks of classes, see below.
The night starts with dinner in the parish hall and ends with prayer for all together. Cost for dinner and program for the week is $60. RSVP by Sunday, July 21. You may register by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have you wondered how to dance? How to cook? How to study the bible? What messages are in the Marvel Comics Movies or the New Yorker? How to taste beer & wine? How do I sew a button? A new summer ministry opportunity is coming to Christ the King Lutheran Church this summer. Each night from Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2 we will come together for fun and learning with sessions taught by members and friends of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Lutherhill Ministries will be here as well to offer summer camp for our families with children ages 5-12. Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Sessions begin at 6:15 p.m. and every night has closing worship at 8:00 p.m. Cost is $60.00. Look for details soon. For information, contact Deacon Ben Remmer at email@example.com.
