Christ the King Church’s Wednesday Night Alive! program will start on September 10. This is a night with something fun or interesting or educational to do for every age group. All are invited, especially new persons – individuals and families alike! Programs and activities run from 4:30 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. Dinner is served starting at 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. All classes and groups join together for a Vespers service in the nave at 7:00 p.m. Detailed schedules can be requested from the church office and will soon be online. Get off to a good start in the summer! Join us for a pizza and ice cream social on Sunday night, June 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the parish hall and courtyard. All families with children and youth are invited. Pizza, ice cream, water, and tea will be provided. Bring your favorite toppings to share!! A group activity on favorite places and games will be included. Please rsvp to the church office.
Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade and their parents, godparents and grandparents are invited to experience The Three Days together in an afternoon’s time, Saturday, April 5, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the parish hall. Activities include bread baking, prayer at the cross, candle making, Jonah story and song, and a feast with bread from the oven. In preparation for The Three Days celebration each activity demonstrates a step on the way through the meaning of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil. Children and parents are invited to then participate in The Three Days in “real time” April 17, 18, 19 and 20. All are welcome on Saturday, April 5; rsvp to the church office or Pr.
