Change up your weekday dinner routine and have a home cooked dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. Meet and make friends, and just have a good ol’ time! Before and after dinner there are many options to pick classes, join conversation/discussion groups, or make music. It’s not too late to join our infant and toddler music classes. Contact Beverly.
We will be offering three new classes beginning on Wednesday, October 17.

Family Friday: October 5

Join us for our first “Family Friday” on October 5, 2018, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Christ the King. Make your place for Friday dinner together with other families. Bring the kids, a bottle of wine or beer to share and let’s “crash together” after the work week. We will eat, enjoy fellowship, and play. We close with a good night story and prayer at 7 p.m.

Invited are all young families with babies, toddler and kindergarten children and their older siblings. Dinner, water and lemonade will be provided. Family Fridays take place very first Friday of the month (mostly). For more information, please contact Pastor Karin Liebster at karinliebster@ctkelc.org.

Calling all Cooks and Bottlewashers
Our Food Service Ministry Team will resume delighting our hungry Wednesday night participants this school year. We are blessed with great cooking, as well as serving and cleaning talent, in our congregation. All members who enjoy good food and good fellowship are invited to join us by volunteering one Wednesday during the fall semester. Food service will be from 5:30-6:40 p.m. each Wednesday from September 5 through November 28. We have a full range of positions available from skilled to unskilled (from cooks to servers to dishwashers). And not only do Food Service Ministry Team volunteers get the satisfaction of serving others, but they also get a free meal. How’s that for a great deal! Contact Beverly Davis.
