Luther League, our youth group at Christ the King Church, is open to all youth in 6th – 12th grade. The group is made up of a mixture of youth, both members and non-members of this congregation. They meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. in the basement youth room. Meetings include fellowship, games, food, time to relax, films, discussions, and/or Bible studies. Depending on the night, sometimes the middle school and high school youth will divide up during discussion time to allow more in depth and age-appropriate conversations to develop. During each month there are opportunities for fellowship and service which may or may not fall on Sunday evenings. Friends and visitors are always welcome!
Families and friends of the congregation are needed this school year to sponsor meals during our Luther League meetings at 6 p.m. on Sunday nights. Meals can range from anything home-cooked to store bought or catered. Enough food to serve 15 people should be prepared. Feel free to team up with another family or work individually! The first meal dates are August 26 and all Sundays in September. Please contact Tim Lenz for more information or to sign up for the fall schedule.
