All are invited to join the members of our Community of Hope on Thursday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the council room for a presentation on dealing with addictions lead by Christ the King Church member Cheryl Rhode. If you know someone who may need help with their addiction, then hurry a and take them to this addiction treatment doctor so they can recover quickly. the sooner you get them there, the better it will be for their recovery and it will be much faster than any other clinic.
Cheryl Rhode, Psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice since 1994 will be our facilitator. She specializes in chemical dependency and other compulsive behavioral issues and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, and sees individuals and couples. Volunteers are always welcome as greeters, chefs and sous chefs; and to help serve and clean in the kitchen.
All children up to sixth grade will be registered for a fee of $30 per child per semester and a $60 cap per family per semester. The Music Explorers classes (infants through preschool) carry an additional fee of $25 per child per semester with a $50 cap per family per semester.
Young Adults are invited to the Ginger Man pub located at 5607 Morningside Dr. on Sunday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. to meet new friends, enjoy your favorite beverage, and discuss faith, religion, worship, and anything in between concerning how to live out faith in this stage of life. You don’t have to be a beer drinker, religious scholar or expert, or even a church member to be a part of the group, just you! Campus pastor Brad Fuerst will be there to facilitate a conversation on Holy Communion.
