Pageant: Christmas Around the World: Dec. 15 at 10 a.m.

We celebrate Christmas (a bit early) with the pageant Christmas Around the World. All children join to sing and play the story of Jesus’ birth. On December 15, all children will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the parish hall to get ready. Bring the whole family and enjoy waffles baked by the Luther League until the doors open at 10 a.m. The youth will make sure to have plenty of waffles for the cast after the show. Dress rehearsal will be on December 14 at 10 a.m.

Paul and Marie Monroe have graciously volunteered to prepare turkey & dressing for a family-style Thanksgiving Day dinner in the parish hall. Any students who aren’t going home, young adults without plans, and all adults without family in town are invited to join them. If you would like, you may bring a covered dish to share (salad, vegetable, bread, dessert, fancy drinks, etc.). For an accurate count, please notify Beverly Davis. However, if you don’t sign up, you are still welcome: everyone will eat their fill and we’ll have baskets of food left over. Thanksgiving dinner will begin around 11:45 a.m. and run until the turkey tryptophan kicks in.
