Each year on Pentecost Sunday (May 31), we invite those who speak or read a language other than English to participate in the reading from the book of Acts. Even though we will not be worshiping in our nave together, we want to encourage at-home participation from all our bilingual and multilingual members and friends. Please contact Cheryl Gaspard to request a copy of the reading in your language. At the appointed time in worship when the assisting minister begins the Acts reading, you are invited to read along in your language. Although it doesn’t appear that the apostles had to ever practice physical distancing (although before they saw the risen Christ they were known to hide out), we’re sure they would approve.
