We’re Putting Faithful Imagination to work for the Future of Christ the King Church

Help us create the vision for the next five years and more at Christ the King Lutheran Church!
On Thursday, March 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Pastor Duane will lead the next general strategic planning “Faithful Imagination” session in the parish hall. He’ll share what your ministry staff and Congregation Council have imagined so far. We’ll draw also from what the congregation has expressed in hopes for the shape of CTK’s future. Above all, we’ll talk about your hopes and dreams for worship, education, outreach, and life together at CTK.  We’ll use our  God-given human imagination and God-given faith to begin to answer the question of  “What do we want the world to know of us five and more years hence?”No RSVP is needed. Just come. If you can’t come on the 22nd, other general “Faithful Imagination” sessions will be held on April 17 at 7:00 p.m, and April 21 at 10:00 a.m., both also in the parish hall.

More focused sessions in latter April through May. Some will be by invitation and hosted in member homes. Others will focus more on exciting consensus  themes that emerge from our general conversations. We ask for everyone’s prayers that our Faithful Imagination sessions will not only produce a clear vision of new and renewed ministry, but excite and bind us together as a congregation living and learning God’s love. Questions? Pastor Larson will be glad to receive them  or call the church office.
